Text updates
Homeowners who use Get 5 Quotes can choose to get short text messages about their own request. Texting is optional and is never required to buy.
How you opt in
On the contact step of each request form (for example vetmyproposal.com/get-quotes/roofing/start or vetmyproposal.com/get-quotes/ac-replacement/start), after you enter your mobile number, there is an unchecked box. You only get texts if you check it yourself. It reads exactly:
You can also turn texts on or off at any time from your private request page.
What we send
- Messages are about your own request only: your spec is ready, it was sent to contractors, a contractor replied, your comparison is ready, or a refund was issued.
- Up to 8 messages per request. No marketing or promotional texts.

- Reply STOP to stop at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email support@vetmyproposal.com.

Your number stays private
We never sell, rent or share your mobile number or text opt-in with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Roofers do not receive your phone number unless you choose "Introduce me" on a quote and ask us to include it. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
